1985 - Founding of RAMSEM

The foundation of Absolute Genetics can be traced back to the establishment of RAMSEM in 1985. RAMSEM was co-founded by Taurus and BKB, with Taurus withdrawing in 1989, leaving Dr. Johan Steyn as the sole shareholder and manager. RAMSEM established its own premises in 1997 in the Roodewal area of Bloemfontein, laying the groundwork for future advancements in livestock genetics and reproductive services.
